We took Delta from Newark Airport to Salt Lake City International Airport. After a brief layover, it took us another 35 minutes flight to arrive at Jackson Hole Airport just around Noon.

The Dollar Car rental shuttle took us to Jackson town.  After we got the car, we drove to Albertson's supermarket to stock up on groceries and wine for the next 7 days.

We took highway 26/89/191 through Grand Teton National Park to the Old Faithful Inn.  The drive was about 3 hours with many photo stops.  There was about 11 miles of road construction between Grand Teton and Yellowstone, but the traffic was not bad on a Wednesday afternoon.

I can't remember the last time I saw such a big sky without buildings blocking my view.  We stopped at the Moose Fall, and saw many people gathering around taking pictures of a bison with some serious equipment at one point.  I jokingly called us "animal paparazzi".

We checked into our room in the old section of the Old Faithful Inn.  Only 10 of the 83 original rooms have private bathrooms.  We booked our room almost a year ago.  The Old Faithful Inn lobby was gorgeous, and our room was quaint and lovely.

We had our wedding anniversary dinner in the Old Faithful Inn dinning room and tried bison meat.  I met some Taiwanese college students who worked in the Inn during their summer break.

After dinner, we took a walk, enjoyed the sunset, and watched the Old Faithful Geyser eruption.

It was almost a full moon that night. We went to bed a little after 9PM.
